Fredericksburg wedding venue FAQs
The practical details for planning an intimate Hill Country wedding weekend at The Ginger Ranch.
Is the Ginger Ranch a wedding venue?+
Yes. The Ginger Ranch hosts intimate, DIY-friendly weddings and provides the setting and lodging rather than wedding-planning services.
Do you recommend caterers, florists, photographers, and other vendors?+
Yes. Visit our vendor guide for professionals who have provided services at the ranch.
Where do event guests park?+
Guests park in the large grassy area in front of the main house. Cones are available on-site to help direct traffic.
Can we tour the ranch before our event?+
Tours are available by appointment. Please contact us before visiting so current guests are not disturbed.
Are tables and chairs provided?+
The ranch has 75 wooden folding chairs for the ceremony and 16 six-foot picnic tables in the pavilion.
Can we decorate the ceremony arch and pavilion?+
Yes. You may decorate the arch and pavilion to suit your event; all decorations must be removed afterward.
Can we book for one night?+
Reservations have a two-night minimum. Most wedding groups use the extra time for rehearsal and setup before the event, then cleanup the following day.
Is a bartender required?+
Yes. All alcohol served during a wedding or event must be handled by a TABC-licensed bartender.
How many people may attend?+
The Ginger Ranch is designed for intimate weddings of up to 100 people on the property at one time.
Can we bring additional tents, tables, or chairs?+
Yes. Rental items are welcome but must be removed before checkout unless other arrangements have been approved.
What do we do with trash?+
A large dumpster is available on-site. All event trash must be placed in the dumpster before checkout.
Can we have a DJ?+
Yes. Out of respect for neighboring ranches, amplified music must be turned down by 10 p.m. and may need to end if a noise complaint is received.
