Rooted in the Hill Country
A historic Fredericksburg ranch
The land has welcomed generations for more than a century. Today, a new generation gathers here to celebrate.
From family ranch to family celebrations
The 100-acre property was originally settled by the Fritz family, German immigrants who came to the Fredericksburg area in the 1800s. For more than 100 years, the land was primarily a dairy farm and cattle ranch.
The ranch stayed in the family for many generations until Jeff and Ashley Clawson purchased it in 2019. They named it The Ginger Ranch after their redheaded children: Harper, Beckett, Asher, and Scarlett.
Today, the ranch welcomes couples, families, and their closest friends for private Hill Country wedding weekends—continuing the property’s long tradition as a place where people gather.
