A few straightforward guidelines help keep guests, neighbors, wildlife, and the ranch safe.
Is the ranch rented by the cabin?+
No. Every reservation includes the entire ranch; cabins are not rented individually.
Are hunting or target shooting allowed?+
No. Hunting and shooting of any kind are prohibited.
Are pool towels supplied?+
Yes. Pool towels are stored in the bathhouse nearest the pool.
Are there wild animals?+
The ranch is surrounded by large-acreage properties. Guests may encounter deer, bobcats, coyotes, wild hogs, snakes, scorpions, spiders, and other wildlife. Please keep a safe distance.
Can we bring an ATV or UTV?+
Yes. Guests may bring an ATV or UTV and use it at their own risk.
Is firewood supplied?+
Firewood is not supplied. You may gather dead wood, bring your own, or arrange delivery. Always confirm that no Gillespie County burn ban is active.
Is the property fenced?+
Yes. The property is fully fenced and has an automatic entrance gate. Guests may not cross fences or enter neighboring properties.
Are fireworks allowed?+
No. Fireworks are prohibited because of the risk of brush fire.
Are pets allowed?+
Yes. The ranch is pet friendly. Guests are responsible for cleanup and any damage caused by their pets.
Where is the pool?+
The pool is next to the main house and Maple Cabin.
Is the pool gated?+
Yes. The pool has a self-closing gate that must remain closed. Children must be supervised at all times.
